Description Broad Band IR Coated (BBAR) Zinc Selenide Lens Sets For Nicolet 400, 400D, or 410 FTIR Spectrometer Sample Compartment and IR Source Focus into the interferometer. BBAR coating allows IR throughput as good or better than KBr lenses. Use of ZnSe as lens material will result in zero lens degradation due to moisture (will not fog over time as KBr lenses can when exposed to moisture). BBAR coating allows passage of <700 cm-1 through > 5000 cm-1 (There is serious loss above 5500 cm-1 as compared to KBr Lenses) |
